I flew from North Carolina to Orlando to purchase my vehicle from this dealership after working with a salesperson over the phone throughout the buying process. Unfortunately, he was not there the day I arrived, so I ended up working with his father, Jason, instead. The finance manager was excellent, and Jason himself was polite and accommodating during the process, so this is not a review written out of anger — just disappointment and a desire for future buyers to be more thorough than I was. When spending around $35,000 on a vehicle, I expected a little more attention to detail before driving it off the lot. For example, the vehicle did not come with floor mats, and Jason had to scramble to locate some. That may sound minor, but it set the tone for several things that seemed overlooked. When I first inspected the vehicle, I focused mostly on the exterior and test drive. During the drive, warning lights came on that I assumed were simple settings issues, but they were never really addressed. I later discovered the infotainment system had never been factory reset before sale, which caused a long and frustrating process with Genesis customer support just to transfer ownership access and create my own profile. I also checked under the hood before purchase and noticed two coolant reservoirs were below minimum levels. I asked whether the car had been serviced while sitting on the lot, and I was assured it had. Jason offered to send it back to service while I was in finance to top everything off and address a couple paint chips they noticed. However, when I got the vehicle back, the fluids still had not been topped off, and the paint repair honestly looked more like touch-up nail polish than a professional correction. At that point, I had already traveled from out of state and was ready to begin the drive back to North Carolina, so I let it go. Unfortunately, within the first month of ownership, I learned the vehicle needed new brakes, and now Genesis is determining whether a failed front camera replacement — not just a recalibration — will be covered under the extended warranty I purchased. If not, that repair alone could cost around $1,500. None of these issues individually are catastrophic, and I understand used vehicles will always have some wear and tear. My frustration is more about the lack of thoroughness and preparation before delivering the vehicle to a customer who traveled across state lines to purchase it. I have worked with dealerships that make absolutely sure every detail is handled before you leave the lot, and I expected a similar level of care here. This dealership may simply operate at a much higher sales volume, but I do think buyers should take extra time inspecting everything carefully rather than assuming all service and preparation items were fully completed beforehand.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership a few months ago and let me tell you - hands down the BEST, FASTEST and EASIEST purchase of a vehicle I have ever had. From the first call, I got the pleasure of working will Jill, who is just such a sweetheart. When we got there, we were greeted right away with smiles and the car was already in the front of the store for easier access. We were given the key and allowed to test drive it and look at it, without a salesman over our shoulder or in our ear pressuring us to buy a car. Jill left us alone and gave us the privacy and would occasionally check in and make sure everything was okay. We were extremely satisfied. After we decided to move forward with the purchase, Jill worked with the managers to get us a number we were happy with. There was a minor issue with the vehicle that we had to take to the Tesla dealership, but Jill and the manager, Von, did a promise to pay to fix the issue - I was a bit skeptical but they sure did keep their promise! The finance guy (don’t remember his name) was great, quick and thorough and able to get us a lower APR than we originally agreed on, which saved us money! HAPPY ABOUT THAT! after we left we scheduled a time to bring the car to Tesla and get the issue fixed. Ingrid and Von both made sure the cost got taken care of within a few days and kept in constant contact with me during the whole process. I am extremely satisfied with this dealership, from start to finish and I will recommend anyone to go there and buy a new or used car!

Here's our story: We walked in on a Sunday excited to start the car buying process, but the dealer was packed and we just couldn't get any attention. Honestly, a little disappointing at first. I casually called the dealership the next day and happened to get Jill on the phone — and that's where everything changed. From that point on, she made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable. We handled everything over texts, phone calls, and online — no need to spend hours sitting at a dealership. Jill was responsive, friendly, and really listened to what we wanted. She worked hard to get us the deal we were looking for, and we drove away happy. The one part that took the most time was signing all the paperwork and leaving with our car. But the person who helped us through that process was fantastic and did a great job keeping things moving and making it as painless as possible. Car buying can be stressful, but the team at Central Florida Hyundai made it feel easy. We'll definitely be back when it's time for our next Hyundai! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
