It’s honestly disheartening that in this day and age, a person with disabilities still has to look the part just to be taken seriously. That’s exactly how I was made to feel at Hyundai of Clermont. When I visited the dealership and asked to see a Hyundai Venue, the salesperson pointed to the back of the lot and said I’d have to walk over there myself — in the rain, no less. I explained that I have mobility issues and use a cane, and walking long distances is a challenge for me. His response? “Are you seriously handicapped?” That level of insensitivity was not only offensive, it was outright discriminatory. Unless you’re visibly falling apart or waving a giant disability flag on your head, you don’t get basic respect or assistance. Just because I can appear to move around doesn’t mean I’m not in pain or struggling — and that’s precisely the kind of narrow-minded ignorance that makes life harder for disabled individuals. Hyundai of Clermont failed not just in customer service, but in human decency. I left feeling humiliated and dismissed, like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. To anyone with mobility challenges: save yourself the frustration — this place isn’t worth your time.

We had a fantastic experience today at Hyundai of Central Florida! Barry is a great sales representative! He explained every step along the way down to setting up our profile in the car before leaving for the day. Mike in finance help knock our paperwork out with ease. Definitely would recommend them for a zero hassle car buying experience!

Super easy process, as a first time purchaser I felt very scared going into the process, but here there were no games to be played. Vehicle was priced fairly under kelly blue book price and absolutely no hidden fees. I wanted to finance through my own bank and they didn’t give me a hard time at all. Frank was a great help and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to skip the headache!

It sounds like such a cliche – but I genuinely mean it when I say I've never experienced a dealership like this one. To say that the experience was amazing and life changing is an understatement. We are a single income household with a disabled daughter, and money is tight in this economy. Our previous car was SUPPOSED to be an extremely reliable brand but all we were met with was issues, disappointment with the dealership, and questionable reliability. It was becoming unmanageable for us to continue the dance with that car, so after desperate research – we entered into Hyundai in a bind, unsure if we could even afford a NEW car as we have never purchased new before. I was directed to Mason, who listened and helped me work out what I needed. He was extremely knowledgeable about Hyundai as a company, and how their specific dealership worked. Once it came to working out numbers, that is when finances became messy. Both Mason and the manager Devon worked HOURS coming up with ideas for financing for our sour situation. They literally maintained our goal and went above and beyond. Usually, dealerships seem to always look out for themselves, and as a customer - I feel like I'm working AGAINST the dealership. I can absolutely confirm it is not that way here – these people worked WITH US, and FOR US. The deal idea they created for our family’s needs was unlike I had ever seen or heard of, and it wasn't like they ONLY wanted to sell a car - it was evident for us how badly they wanted to HELP us. They absolutely came to the rescue and saved our family from a bad situation. In my opinion, they are miracle workers who genuinely work FOR the people and not like a dealer holding all the cards with our fate attached. Thank you to Mason who was incredible the entire time, extremely patient, understanding, CLEVER, and so very kind. Thank you to Devon who never once got annoyed that the entire process took from 9am to 6pm with multiple financial ideas and phone calls. And thank you to all the other employees that never once got annoyed that my toddler daughter ran around the building multiple times. 100% of the employees I encountered were so kind and it was heartwarming to see how each of them interacted with so much care towards her in our long day there. This is an amazing, FAIR, family oriented dealership who genuinely cares about their customers. We left that day purchasing our first brand new car, praising God for somehow putting this dealership in our path.

This is the third car we buy from them and the more we do business with this company the more I love the way they handle business. God bless you for being truthful and care about the customer. No other dealer in the area that is like Hyundai Central Florida 😃
